We are seeking a Real Estate Analyst intern for the summer of 2026, with start and end dates being flexible. The ideal candidate will be deeply ambitious, constantly seeking learning opportunities and the ability to contribute to cross-functional teams. This role will report to the Director of Research and have a hybrid focus across Research, Brokerage, and Marketing, providing exposure to the full life cycle of commercial real estate deals.

We are seeking a Real Estate Analyst intern for the summer of 2026, with start and end dates being flexible. This role will report to the Director of Research and have a hybrid focus across Research, Brokerage, and Marketing, providing exposure to the full life cycle of commercial real estate deals.
What you will be doing:
- Assist with pulling lease and sales comparables to support brokerage advisory work for our clients
- Contribute to and assist with maintaining Range Commercial Partners’ proprietary database
- Build underwriting models to support pricing guidance for sales
- Conduct extensive real estate, economic, and other research to identify trends that influence the real estate market in Virginia and nationwide.
- Give regular presentations to Director of Research on findings and implement feedback to improve capabilities.
- Contribute to research reports with the support of the Director of Research
- Identify and plan innovative ways to access, accumulate, and analyze data from various sources
- Regularly evaluate business processes to identify areas of improvement/increased efficiency
- Attend regular mentorship meetings with Director of Research to build commercial real estate knowledge, presentation skills, and technical analytic skills.
- Pursuing or recently obtained a Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university, preferably in one of the following disciplines: Economics, Business, Computer Science, Engineering
- A deep desire to learn and a passion for breaking into the Commercial Real Estate Industry
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel Skills, or the ability to build them quickly.
- Minimal Experience with or exposure to SQL, Python, etc. a plus
- A mindset that questions the status quo with innovative, creative problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal and external stakeholders.
